does anyone know anything about leg muscle reduction surgery?

Posted on December 25th, 2011 by admin

The muscles in my legs are bigger than I’d like them to be, and I’m looking for options on how to fix this. I’m pretty sure this is a genetic thing, but I was adopted and don’t really know how legs go in my biological family, haha. I’m self concious when I wear shorts, swimsuits, skirts etc. because of the size of my leg muscles.

I know there are exercises and diets that can help to reduce leg muscle, such as high reps of lighter weights and cardio as well as a high-fiber, low-carb and low-protein diet but I’d like to see a faster result. I’ve researched leg muscle reduction surgery and Partial Resection of Gastrocnemius is something I’m thinking of. If I were to continue with this exercise and diet plan, how long would it take to see significant results?

Maybe someone here has undergone this type of surgery and has feedback or suggestions or something…? Or maybe you can talk me out of this, as it is a costly and risky surgery. Also, I hear that this surgery can only be performed in Korea. I’m kinda thinking that’s not true, does anyone know?

Thank you icon smile does anyone know anything about leg muscle reduction surgery?

yeah. It probably is true. Places in Asia are the only places that do the super high risk semi-experimental surgery. You will probably die over there with your big leg muscles bleeding out while Asian doctors scream things you dont understand.

I cant believe you would risk getting DANGEROUS surgery because "wahhh my legs look big in a swimsuit"

Seriously. There are children born without legs. Just be glad you have normal strong legs, and if you want to change them a little bit, do it the healthy way. It might take a year and a lifestyle change.

Breast reduction, back pain?

Posted on December 25th, 2011 by admin

I’m 18, size 36E.. and very unconfident because with my size. I feel i look bigger because of the size of my breasts.
I’ve tried losing some weight, exercising… to see if they would shrink as i lost the weight but since doing so (exercising..etc) i’ve been getting extremely bad back pain, seems to be in the centre, down my spine.. it just hurts too much so now ive had to stop the exercise, and well… it seems i’m stuck…
I’m seriously concidering getting a brast reduction, not just because of my back pain (which i am sure they are the cause for), but for my confidence as well!

I was wondering if anybody knew how much a smaller exactly they allow you to go? (if you’re given a choice)
and also if anyone has had a reduction themselves, has it helped you, have you had any regrets doing so???

THANK YOU

i couldn’t choose my size but i trusted my doctor considering he’s a very famous doctor and has done numerous breast reduction procedures – so i trusted he knew what would match me. he said big c small d because i’m a female with very wide hips so still having big boobs would match my hour glass frame more. i didn’t think that was going to be a lot until after surgery when my breasts were so perky and my nipples didn’t look like something out of national geographic magazines anymore. it took 1 week and i was out of my surgical bra, though in the beginning i will admit i was in A LOT of pain. you get these weird creepy crawly feelings in your breasts for a while and your bruised from the lipo under your armpits. you have to wear drains for one day which look honestly like grenades attached to your bra. it’s helped my dramatically. my posture’s improved and i’m already buying cute new outfits and wearing my triangle string bikini that i bought 5 years ago!!!!! i haven’t had any regrets. just make sure you have 2 weeks AT LEAST to dedicate to getting better.

EDIT: by the way they took out 1500 grams or so in each breast, a total of 6lbs!

•OBESE*:
1. 1. Now-a-days, even girls & boys are becoming the victims of hypothyroidism vis-a-vis the interlinked obesity.
2. Here is a remedy: Just press hard Ur right hand palm just below the base of Ur right thumb–with the help of left thumb and vice versa. That point is acupressure point for Ur thyroid/parathyroid glands. Similarly U must press Ur big toes in the soles just below the base of big toe. If all these points are painful/tender; then U have to go in for T.S.H., T-3,T-4 tests to know the real picture. If the results reveal anything, don’t worry. Acupressure techniques & natural remedies can cure it in 45 days.

Autism, Thalassemia, Muscular Dystrophy, all brain and spinal cord affected diseases.

. Utility—Blocked energy + toxins shall be moved from all Ur internal organs to purge in the normal drainage system, i.e., urine, feces, sweat, cough, menses[ladies], vomitting and all the organs shall function upto optimal levels

With ur thumb, press ur/his/her palms and soles, wrists and ankles on both sides. oh and 1 more quuestion since you can’t do spot reduction

because if i stand i feel hard fat (on calves) it’s not muscle but when i sit i can feel all the fat….
any suggestions
i’m a girl i want to lose weight but not build bulky muscles

@ T-rank: It’s spelled you’re, moron.

There’s not much you can do except eat healthy, and exercise (jogging, swimming, etc.). You definitely won’t be able to lose 30 pounds in that time, unless you exercise a few hours daily, but you should be able to lose some weight.

Questions on weight loss after delivery?

Posted on December 25th, 2011 by admin

Hello all,
I am having a 4month old baby and i am breastfeeding. I have lost 9kg after my delivery and havent lost any weight until now. I am starting my day with simple exercises. How to lose my weight? I have heard that breastfeeding help in weight reduction, is it true? I didnt get my periods back, so is there any link btween my period and weight loss? Please help me out.

Hi Jyo,

It is normal to lost only 9 kgs. You will eventually lose that weight when you taking care your baby. Consider to eat lots of spinach or other green vegetables for your breast milk. The more your baby breastfeed, the greater chance you losing your weight.

Hi,i am 20 year old(female),how to regain my very thick hair, that i lost due to weight reduction of 25 kg?

Posted on December 25th, 2011 by admin

i had followed a very strict diet plan to reduce my weight,as i was very fat…now i lost a lot of weight and look good now,but during that process i lost my thick hair.Genetically also, all my family members have a very great hair that is usually till their knees,..i don’t have any other problem, except that its not thick…suggest me some good food, shampoos or any hair oil….

thanks n regards…
sienna
As somebody ANSWERED that the thickness comes genetically….even i had a very thick hair that i couldn’t even hold with both my hands,i mean to say,it was very very thick till i started dieting and some hard core exercises to lose weight..but now its long but not thick..

Congratulations on the weight loss!

I suggest deep conditioning your hair, to make it healthier.
I use coconut oil, and I leave it for an hour or so.
You can also use olive oil, or eggs, but I prefer coconut oil. This has helped me get thicker, and healthier hair.

Also use shampoos and conditioners that are natural, like Macedemia?
Or Mane and Tail, I heard of heaps of people getting long, thick hair because of that.

And basically, keep your hair healthy.Don’t do anything to your hair, don’t apply heat, only have a shower every other day, don’t brush your hair with a brush, use your hands or a wide tooth comb, drink lots of water, eat healthy foods, massage your scalp etc.

About workout and weight loss?

Posted on December 25th, 2011 by admin

Hi i was working out continously during winter and did put on good weight. However during summer i think i have started loosing weight and i am bit worried. And ya there has been drastic reduction in my power and strenght to lift weights. So anyone can help me if this is the natural process that happens or something is going wrong. Thanks.

If you have stopped working out since winter, you will experience some decreases in strength and muscle mass. That is a natural physical process, but you typically won’t see those changes for a few months after you stop exercising. If you haven’t stopped exercising, overtraining can also lead to decreases in strength and performance. If that’s the case, I’d recommend decreasing your work load and just keeping a moderate pace. Allow your body to completely recover for a week or so, and continue working out moderately, and be sure to get adequate sleep. The weight loss could be due to decreased muscle mass if you discontinued exercise, or by loss of fat if you are continuing exercise, and because the rate of muscle gain has slowed (natural process with training).

Spot weight reduction anyone know how to?

Posted on December 25th, 2011 by admin

I can’t lose my inner thigh, thigh and calf fat no matter what I do. This year I started a low calorie diet for six months with cardio and running everyday and I only lost weight off my stomach and it got to the point where I could see my ribs and still not even a quarter inch came off my legs. I can’t do any excerise other than work outs until january because I have a lung problem. What should I do?

how about going for walks

Posted on December 25th, 2011 by admin

Hello friends ,

i am not a docter or a specialist but have been into healthy habits all my life your body has been
fine tuned by nature introducing chemicals into your system for non health reason is silly its not clear
why you need to reduce but if you are already in good shape forcing your body to shed more weight
is not healthy
